Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) is a technology that can provide external partners with single sign-on for B.C. government’s IM/IT systems.
Why should I use this
External partners
ADFS is an industry-standard Microsoft solution that allows clients to establish a trust between separate organizations.
Enterprise solution
Active Directory is a well-established and critical piece of B.C. government’s identity management infrastructure.
Integration
It supports various integration options for a partner’s Active Directory implementation, including Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML 2.0), OAuth2, Integrated Windows Sign-on or web services federation (WS-Federation).
